HK and BK are drawn cup bearings. The outer ring is formed from a thin steel strip instead of being machined from bar stock, so the bearing takes almost no radial space away from the shaft. The needles run directly on the housing bore and on the shaft — there is no inner ring — which is how these bearings carry a high load in a section a ball bearing cannot match.

Once pressed into a rigid housing, no snap ring or axial clamp is needed to hold the bearing in place; the interference fit does the work. Choose open end (HK) where the shaft passes through, closed end (BK) to seal the end of a shaft. Sealed variants (HK..L, HK..LL) keep grease in where re-lubrication is not possible.

Shaft diameter 3–50 mm. Metric HMK and imperial DCH cover 8–50 mm in the same envelope.
Thin wall, no inner ring. The housing bore is the raceway, so the radial section stays small.
Press-fit retention. No snap ring, no axial clamping, no shoulder machining.
Suffix F / FM. Up to three times the service life; FM adds press-fitting from both sides.
Double row and solid grease. ZWD for higher load in the same section, LP03 for sealed-for-life assemblies.
